Bergdorf Goodman the storied luxury department store(There is only one Bergdorf Goodman in the world: The pinnacle of style, service, and inspiration, since 1901.) kicked off its 111th Anniversary celebration by hosting a special screening of the documentary film “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s” this past Wednesday (9/12)and it was one of the big parties to close New York Fashion Week.
The film “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s” directed by Matthew Miele, takes you behind the scenes into the inner sanctum of the world’s most sophisticated store. A venerable list of fashion royalty, New Yorkers, and personalities will speak of the magic, myths and mysteries of a retailer at the apex of luxury. Karl Lagerfeld, Joan Rivers, Michael Kors, and many others, share their personal, often amusing, stories about Bergdorf Goodman. The film was screened at New York’s iconic Paris Theater with the screening sponsored by Cadillac a recognized brand in the luxury car industry.
